Waldo County Healthcare, Inc. (WCHI) Arthur Jewell Health Center/Donald Walker Health Center is looking for a BC Family Medicine physician.  Located in Brooks, Maine, the practice is made up of 1 NP, 2 PAs and the physician being recruited. Scheduled hours are negotiable (0.80 – 1.0 FTE); includes Saturday clinic on a 1:15 rotation. Community call shared with 11 physicians. Group covers “phone only” call Friday – Sunday; Hospital call included Monday-Thursday. The Patient population is all ages. Patient care and supervision of Advanced Practice Providers.

The center is Medicare and Medicaid (MaineCare) certified and participates in most health insurance plans. It is also a participating site of the Maine Breast & Cervical Cancer Screening Program; has on-site therapist appointments; priority sick visits; and on-site lab work. Fully licensed by the State of Maine, AJCHC is a department of Waldo County General Hospital, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation. AJCHC is conveniently located on Reynolds Road just off Route 7 in Brooks, Maine.
