Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group, Department of Neurology, is looking for a full-time Neuromuscular Neurologist to join our faculty. The neuromuscular section currently includes 7 faculty with varied interests, treating a growing population from a catchment area of nearly 4.5 million. This physician will engage in clinical neuromuscular practice, regular time in our AANEM-accredited EMG Laboratory, and teach our residents, students, and fellow. There is additional opportunity for intraoperative monitoring and diagnostic ultrasonography.
We direct a unique multidisciplinary team of allied professionals (physical, occupational, speech, and respiratory therapy, nutrition, psychology, etc.) to provide prompt access for our neurology patients. Our program includes dedicated ALS Clinic and MDA Clinic and our department has specialists in dementia, epilepsy, headache medicine, movement disorders, neurocritical care, and stroke.
Our department also has its own clinical research personnel and conducts clinical trials in many areas including neuromuscular disorders. We have a strong tradition of clinical excellence with an established Clinical Neurophysiology Fellowship, neuromuscular conferences, and mentorship. Our faculty, trained from varied institutions, have come together in beautiful Southern California to build a collegial program that offers our patients comprehensive and expert care in a compassionate setting.
