Franklin Surgery is a Franklin Memorial Hospital owned practice located in Farmington, Maine.  The general surgeon position is a full-time, salaried position with significant opportunity to earn incentive pay. This position will be joining 3 surgeons and have a 1:4 call. New graduates preferred (Endo experience preferred but not required) and our current surgeons are willing to closely mentor a new surgeon.  Candidates must be BE/BC in general surgery.

Franklin Community Health Network is a member of MaineHealth, the premier healthcare system in Maine, and is nationally renowned for its innovative programs in rural healthcare.  Franklin Memorial Hospital, a 70-bed, acute care, Joint Commission accredited facility, including an Ambulatory Surgical Unit which includes 3 operating rooms, 2 endo rooms, and 1 minor surgery room. Patient volume currently averages 2,000- 2,250 cases annually. Patient volume draws from a wide geographic region with serves 40,000 residents of west central Maine. The practice is located in the new Medical Arts Center which is conveniently attached to the Hospital.  Our progressive 50-member medical staff offers outstanding collegial relationships, and specialty and primary care referrals are readily available.
