We have a very busy group practice with satellite locations in Riverside, Banning, and San Bernardino in addition to our main location in Loma Linda. Our group provides professional services at the Riverside County clinic/hospital as well, where we have an active Resident training program. We are currently building out additional dedicated retina clinical space at our Loma Linda location to facilitate optimal patient service/ flow. Our facilities are equipped with the most up to date equipment needed for diagnostic purposes and we have several retinal clinical trials underway. In the last 12 month period, as a group we had close to 50,000 billed visits.

Description |
Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group, Department of Ophthalmology, is seeking a full time BC/BE Ophthalmologist, fellowship trained in Vitreo-Retinal Surgery, to join our group of ophthalmic subspecialties and generalists. Candidates should have an MD degree and be board certified or board eligible in ophthalmology, with at least two years of subspecialty training in Vitreo-Retinal diseases. Applicant must have demonstrated skills in the area of surgical Vitreo-Retinal disease and medical retina. Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience.
Will provide high quality clinical care to patients with Vitreo-Retinal and medical retinal diseases at Loma Linda University Health and affiliated teaching hospitals. A background interest in clinical or basic research in retinal diseases is desired. Duties include sharing in the responsibility, with existing faculty, for didactic and clinical training of: residents, fellows, and practicing ophthalmologists in Vitreo-Retinal and medical retinal diseases. Coverage, call for subspecialty, and other service items are also included.

The Loma Linda Eye Institute has excellent clinical facilities and a large, diverse patient population. Associated with Loma Linda University Medical Center and Children’s Hospital, LLUEI is also a teaching facility with ophthalmology residents and fellows.
