Salary negotiable based on experience.
Physician Outpatient Productivity Incentive Program: Incentive grants you 85% of hospital collections. A provider can make up to $47,600 based on encounters per year (Max of $47,600 is with 6,800 encounters per yr. at rate of $7.00 per encounter) if s/he has hospital privileges. Physicians w/out hospital privileges are paid at a different rate, as per policy.

In Del Rio, TX: Texas Association of Community Health Centers is seeking a full-time Internal Medicine Physician to provide preventative and primary medical care for patients at a federally qualified community health center. Staff Physician must be able to treat patients from a diversity of social and ethnic backgrounds and to work creatively as a member of a health oriented team composed of health professions from a variety of disciplines for the healing and betterment of the center's patients.
Graduation from an accredited Medical school, completion of approved post-graduate training, and an unrestricted Texas medical license required. Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Board Eligible (with intent to obtain certification within 2 years). Fluent in Spanish preferred. Excellent benefits package available. FTCA malpractice coverage provided.

This facility is a Federally Qualified Community Health Center providing primary health care services to both insured and uninsured patients in a bilingual, bicultural community since 1973. Our tri-county service area encompasses Maverick, Val Verde, and Kinney counties, is located in Southwest Texas on the U.S. Mexico Border, and serves the cities of Eagle Pass, Del Rio, and Brackettville, Texas.
The center maintains eight medical clinic sites and offers Pediatric, OB/GYN, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Podiatry and Dental Services. In addition, our centers offer in-house services such as Laboratory, Pharmacy, Radiology, Social Services, Family Planning, WIC, HIV/AIDS testing and counseling.
