CLINICAL CARDIOLOGY OPPORTUNITY

Maine Medical Partners MaineHealth Cardiology is seeking clinical cardiologists to join their Augusta, Maine practice location.

Maine Medical Partners MaineHealth Cardiology is a growing practice of 38 cardiologists affiliated with the Maine Medical Center with office locations in Augusta, Waterville, Lewiston, Rockport, Scarborough, and South Portland. This integrated practice also works closely with other regional hospitals, including MaineGeneral Medical Center with campuses in Augusta and Waterville, to build a coordinated network of cardiology services.

MaineGeneral Medical Center is an acute care facility which presently operates two major hospitals in the neighboring towns of Augusta and Waterville. The two campuses have a combined capacity of over 300 beds and serve a population of more than 130,000.  MaineGeneral is nearing completion of a consolidated, state-of-the-art, regional hospital to open in the late fall.

Waterville is home to Colby College, one of Maine’s premier liberal arts schools, and also boasts excellent food and active cultural events including an annual film festival and an active opera house.  Only minutes from Waterville are numerous lakes and mountains, which are centrally located between great skiing and the scenic Maine coast.

The selected candidates will join a team of cardiologists who provide inpatient, outpatient and consultative services.  The preferred candidate would be a Fellowship-trained cardiologist proficient in both echo and nuclear cardiology.
