Carilion Clinic is seeking an experienced ABMS-BC and fellowship trained Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join our busy and well-established 5-person group located in Roanoke, VA. Candidates with 5 years or more experience preferred.  Procedures are performed at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, our 703-bed flagship teaching/tertiary referral center with Virginia state-designated Level 1 Trauma serving over 1 million people throughout western Virginia.

For more than 25 years, cardiac surgery in southwest Virginia has been led by the surgical team of Carilion Clinic's Cardiothoracic Surgery. The practice is located in a modern, large office facility on the hospital campus and offers state-of-the-art surgical expertise, including minimally invasive carciac surgical procedures, atrial fibrillation surgery, ECMO, ventricular assist, and transcatheter aortic valve replacment.  The practice includes  approximately 65% cardiac and 35% thoracic. The group has cared for the residents of southwest Virginia since 1982 and work closely with referring physicians to ensure exceptional and personalized care. With over 21,000 heart and lung operations and an established team of physician assistants and perfusionists all supported by the hospital support team, Carilion Cardiothoracic Surgery is finding betters ways in cardiac excellence for patients.
