 Job Description

Duties:  Serve as an attending physician in internal medicine. Manage in-patient and outpatient cases using preventative medicine including nutrition and exercise as needed for efficient, quality patient care. Develop lifestyle medicine programs to promote lasting behavioral change for sustained healthy behavior. Provide patient care and medical treatment of frequently encountered disorders within the physician’s particular specialty, including treating chronic health conditions like diabetes using lifestyle and preventive medicine modalities in cross-cultural environments. Provide didactic and clinical teaching for residents and medical students, including all aspects of the physician’s particular specialty. Actively participate in research activities within the particular specialty department and represent the department at professional and educational conferences

Education + Experience Requirements: Medical degree; Completion of a 36-month residency in internal medicine

Special Skills: 

• California medical license
• Treating chronic health conditions like diabetes using lifestyle and preventative medicine modalities in cross-cultutal environments
• Practicing preventative medicine inclusing nutrition and exercise
• Developing lifestyle medicine programs to promote lasting behavioral change for sustained healthy behavior.
