Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group, Department of Neurosurgery, is seeking BE/BC Functional Neurosurgeon to join their team.
The positions include a very busy practice with an eclectic mix of cases from general neurosurgical to complex cranial. We are looking for a qualified surgeon who love to teach, do research, and are comfortable working in a faith-based environment.
The ideal candidate is a Board Certified neurosurgeon interested in taking the program further. This individual will hold a faculty appointment through the Department of Neurosurgery at Loma Linda University School of Medicine. On-call duties are general and averages to approximately 1 in 5. The department is well represented in its collegial and friendly faculty, representing all major religions and faiths, with almost every subspecialty represented.
The ideal candidate will love to teach and be eager to participate in the mission of Loma Linda University Health (LLUH) to continue the healing ministry of Jesus Christ. This individual will hold a faculty appointment through the Department of Neurosurgery at Loma Linda University, School of Medicine.
The Department of Neurosurgery currently has 4 full-time faculty members and a fully accredited neurosurgery residency-training program. Loma Linda University Medical Center is a tertiary care center with Level 1 trauma accreditation serving a population in excess of 4 million. There is a full complement of services lines, including interventional neurosurgery and proton beam therapy.
