Carilion Clinic and the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery is searching for a General Non-Operative Orthopaedic Surgeon to work part time, 3 days a week.  The ideal candidate is an experienced Orthopaedic Surgeon who can handle a high volume of patients. The purpose of this position is to provide the portal for new patients for a first evaluation to determine the Orthopaedic pathway and appropriate approach to care/treatment or to see patients for follow up visits.  This position does not include having a surgical practice. The primary work locations are in the Family Medicine practices located in Galax and Wytheville, Virginia. The Carilion Clinic Orthopaedic Department includes 41+ Physicians and 20+ Physician extenders in seven subspecialty sections providing patient centered care throughout the region.
