In Del Rio, TX: Texas Association of Community Health Centers is seeking a full-time Pediatric Physician to provide preventative and primary medical care for patients in a warm and friendly community healthcare setting. Must be able to treat patients from a diversity of social and ethnic backgrounds and to work creatively as a member of a health oriented team composed of health professionals from a variety of disciplines for the healing and betterment of the center's patients. New hire will provide care to patients aged birth to early adulthood, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of ailments specific to young people. Must possess skills necessary to supervise mid-levels, nurses, ancillary team. Some after-hours on-call duty is expected. Must be able to make arrangements for hospitalization of patients, as needed. Inpatient hospital responsibility at Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center. Qualifications: Graduation with MD from an accredited medical school and completion of approved post-graduate training. Will consider new graduates, as well as medical students in the final year of residency. J-1 and HIB visa candidates are also welcome. Must possess a full and unrestricted Texas medical license prior to employment start date. Must be Board Certified (preferred) or Board Eligible in Pediatrics. Fluent in Spanish a plus. Benefits: Competitive salary with possible additional income (Physician can earn up to $34,000.00 in Physician Outpatient Productivity Incentive).
