In Georgetown, TX: Texas Association of Community Health Centers is seeking a full-time OBGYN Physician who is  board eligible/certified OB/Gyn Physicians who are mission driven, personable, energetic, compassionate, and can provide high-quality care while meeting productivity targets. Job Overview:

• Counsel and educate patients about preventative measures to avoid illness
• Perform comprehensive initial medical assessment and ongoing check-ups for all prenatal patients in accordance with protocols
• Perform women's health care examinations and provide basic GYN care, contraceptive and STD services according to clinical protocols
• Identify high-risk patients, and refer to OB/GYN physician or to outside sources in accordance with clinical protocols
• Work towards increasing effectiveness of the OB/GYN program in conjunction with the Medical Director and OB/GYN Director
• 60% OB and 40% GYN.  Will perform deliveries. 
• 1-4 on call schedule

Qualifications:

• Current valid license to practice medicine in the State of Texas (or completion/scheduled date of Jurisprudence)
• Minimum of 2 years experience required 
• Current DPS and DEA certificates (or in progress).
• Board eligibility in OB/GYN (ABOG, AOBOG) is required; board certification is required within 5 years of achieving initial eligibility and ongoing employment is contingent upon this.
• Current American Red Cross or American Heart Association BLS required.
