 Job Description
To provide psychiatric care to patients of MaineGeneral Medical Center as assigned. In specific, to work in collaboration with and under the supervsion of the psychiatric staff to provide psychiatric assessments, medication prescribing/administration/ monitoring, and therapeutic intervention to the inpatient population of persons who present mental illness and/or substance abuse disorders. Bachelor's degree, in Nursing preferred, Licensed in Maine as Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, 3 years or more experience, At least three years experience working with the severely mentally ill as a Registered Nurse or PMHNP is required. Experience and training in co-occurring mental health and substance abuse concerns is required. Per diem position primarily working weekends. Available immediately.
