Faculty opportunity available with Carilion Clinic - Virginia Tech Carilion Family Medicine Residency, a well-established, dually accredited ACGME/AOA 10/10/10 family medicine residency program with plans to transition to ACGME  with Osteopathic Recognition. Excellent opportunities to teach osteopathic/allopathic residents and medical students in one residency practice with two designated sites. Faculty member will see patients in the Southeast Roanoke site and precept in both sites.  Faculty appointments are available with both Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine and Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine, Inpatient obstetrics required. 

Duties include seeing patients three half-days per week, precepting, assisting in overseeing parts of our curriculum, and supervising resident hospital & obstetrical care. Great opportunity to teach allopathic/osteopathic residents and medical students and work with a highly talented and cohesive faculty group.  This position consists of inpatient care, inpatient obstetrical care and outpatient care with teaching in a state-of-the art 791-bed modern hospital. Excellent EMR system. Obstetrical call is shared with other faculty members.

Minimum Qualifications:

• ABMS/AOA-BC/BE in Family Medicine
• Eligible for unrestricted Virginia medical license and DEA
• Experience or fellowship training preferred
