Carilion Clinic is seeking an ABMS-Board Certified/Board Eligible Diagnostic Radiologist to join the Radiology Department in their existing radiology section located at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center. General radiology practice with Body Imaging Fellowship preferred but all qualified candidates will be considered. Located in the Christiansburg/Blacksburg region of southwest Virginia with a population of 185,000, the area is home to Virginia Tech and Radford Universities and boasts a stable base of business and industry. Nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains along Virginia's Technology Corridor, the region is affordable, safe, progressive, and strategically located on the Interstate-81 corridor, just 30 minutes from the Appalachian Trail. The New River Valley area offers an unparalleled combination of city convenience, beautiful scenery, and an active outdoor environment. With a lively arts community and an abundance of cultural activities, there's plenty to do inside as well as outside. Aspects of the practice include all modalities except angiography.
