Income Details:

Salary negotiable based on experience.

Incentive Pay: Generous production based incentive program. Our incentive pay structure is being reworked, but the current structure commonly pays 20K per year for clinicians in a floater position.
Signing Bonus: Signing loan/bonus available - 18K forgiven over 5 years of continuous full-time employment
Student Loan Forgiveness:

NHSC Loan Repayment Program

Relocation Paid: Included in signing bonus
Vacation: 3 weeks vacation, 8 holidays

 Job Description

In Waco, TX: Texas Association of Community Health Centers is seeking a full-time Family Nurse Practitioner OR Physician Assistant to provide the full scope of primary care services which fall under field of training to diagnose, treat and provide coordination of care, preventive care and health maintenance to all patients of all ages. We are seeking candidates whose professional goals are to achieve equitable health outcomes.

Job Overview:

  • Floater permanent position; provider filling in a various clinics to provide access for patients while their PCP is out of clinic. Opportunity may exist for permanent placement at a specific clinic long-term
  • Provide the full scope of primary care services 
  • Diagnose, treat and provide coordination of care, preventive care and health maintenance to all patients of all ages
  • Become familiar with the philosophy, goals and objectives of the health Center and work collaboratively to achieve them 
  • Be cognizant of, and comply with all center policies and procedures, as well as pertinent state and federal regulations
  • Clinical responsibilities include provision of direct patient care in an outpatient community clinic for 40 hours per week.

Qualifications:

  •      Graduation from a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant training program
  •      License to practice medicine in the state of Texas, or license pending
  •      Board eligible or Board certification required
