 Job Description

Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group (LLUFMG), Department of Preventive Medicine, is seeking a curriculum developer in Lifestyle Medicine.  

Duties:

SOM curriculum development in Lifestyle Medicine (0.3 FTE)

- Follow written competency/milestone guidelines for content development

- Attend SOM planning meetings and retreats

- Meet with course, block, clerkship and other content leaders to collaborate on curriculum

- Research and create content with evidence-based references to include

- Clarify/teach evidence to faculty

- Create and teach modules, lectures, cases or lead small groups of students

- Other relevant duties as directed

Qualifications:

- Masters or higher training in preventive medicine/public health or lifestyle medicine

- Certified or willing to be come certified/eligible for ACLM or ABLM certification exam in Lifestyle Medicine

- Experience in teaching lifestyle medicine content to program participants or learners

We are looking for applicants that are commited to developing comprehensive quality primary care services to underserved populations. This position may include opportunities for on-site teaching and mentoring LLU medical residents at the Hesperia, San Bernardino, or Ontario clinics. 

This is opportunity is not eligible for a J1 Waiver.
