 Client Overview
This facility was established in 1992 as a 501 (c)(3) private, non-profit and charitable organization, providing affordable healthcare for the uninsured, underinsured, and low-income residents of Wichita Falls and surrounding communities. A family practice medical facility, our team is comprised of caring and experienced caregivers, including primary care physicians, dentists, nurses and support personnel. We accept all forms of insurance including Medicare, Medicaid, and CHIP. Patients with minimal or no insurance can receive care through a discounted sliding fee scale based on family income and household size.

We believe not only in being here for our community, but in reaching out to it! Our mobile dental unit is staffed with a dentist, a dental hygienist and a dental assistant. This unit visits schools to screen children and provide them with dental care where they're at. During the summer months, this same mobile dental unit travels to nursing homes and provides dental services to residents needing dental care.

Community Overview

Wichita Falls is a family oriented city of over 100,000 comfortably nestled in the lower North East corner of the Panhandle/Plains area of North Texas conveniently within two hours of both Dallas and Oklahoma City. The location is ideal for those wanting a smaller city's lifestyle while being close to other activities available in a metropolitan area. It is an economically progressive city home to commerce and industry with worldwide interests. Much like some of the nation's largest cities, Wichita Falls boasts the great cultural diversity that comes with having a multinational Euro-NATO population at Sheppard Air Force Base. The population of Wichita Falls has a strong community spirit geared toward family, friends and a desire to see that this thriving city continues to grow and prosper.

The City of Wichita Falls and surrounding communities offer exceptional educational opportunities. Many of the local elementary schools participate in the Head Start program for preschool-aged children. The Wichita Falls Independent School District is one of only a handful in Texas that does not require its students to attend a particular school in the district based on their residency. Two schools in the Wichita Falls ISD participate in the International Baccalaureate programmes, one a high school, the other a middle school. Wichita Falls is home to Midwestern State University, an accredited 4-year college and the only independent liberal arts college in Texas offering both bachelor's and master's degrees. A local branch of nearby Vernon College offers two-year degrees, certificate programs, and workforce development programs, and there is also a local branch of Wayland Baptist University.

The city enjoys a wide variety of entertainments including western roundups and rodeos, community theatres, ballet, symphony, arts centers, museums, and numerous venues for shopping of all kinds. For bike enthusiasts, in late August the city hosts the annual Hotter'N Hell Hundred, the largest century bicycle ride in the United State, where tens of thousands of people come once a year to participate or to watch. The city is also home to a number of semi-professional, development, and minor league sports teams. There are plenty of parks for playtime as well as nature trails for those who enjoy hiking and biking.
