Income Details:

Salary negotiable based on experience. 

Incentive Pay: Physician will get 50% of the amount Clinic collects for all hospital services that Physician oversees
Student Loan Forgiveness:

NHSC. 

Vacation: 21 accrued PTO days, 8 Holidays,1 Float Day
CME: 5 CME Days and 2,000.00 a year
Call Coverage: TBD

 Job Description

In San Antonio, TX: Texas Association of Community Health Centers is seeking a full-time OBGYN Physician to provide quality, comprehensive in-patient and/or out-patient (as per individual employment agreements) primary health care services to the Center's patients.

Job Overview:

  • Maintains appropriate productivity standards of specialty as established by the Center; maintains appropriate and efficient patient flow and minimizes schedule changes and absences
     
  • Assures continuity of care by providing comprehensive medical services on a timely basis as per Clinic schedule within the Center’s scope of practice and the provider’s training
     
  • Refers clients for appropriate specialty care services, lab and x-ray and any other ancillary services that are appropriate for the patient’s management and care
     
  • Takes call after hours and on weekends on a rotation basis with other providers and responds appropriately and on a timely manner to after hour calls when applicable (as per individual employment agreements)
     
  • Trains, mentors and supervises students and clinical support staff, as appropriate
     
  • Inpatient hospital responsibility 
  • EHR: NextGen

 Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited medical school with a degree of Doctor of Medicine 
  • Active license to practice medicine in the State of Texas required 
  • 2 years of post graduate training experience required
  • Board certification required

Bilingual (English & Spanish)  Preferred
