ThedaCare Physicians Appleton North relocated to a new, practice location, Encircle Health, in October 2009. This new abmulatory care center is a state-of-the-art, comprehensive outpatient facility designed to meet most patient's health care needs under one roof. ThedaCare Physicians North Appleton occupies 30,000 sq-ft of the three-story, 156,000 sq-ft facility.
Encircle Health is also home to ThedaCare Physicians - Internal Medicine; ThedaCare Physicians - Infectious Disease; Fox Valley Pulmonary Medicine; and Valley Urologic Associcates. ThedaCare Orthopedics Plus, ThedaCare Behavioral Health, Fox Valley Surgical Associates, and Women's Health Specialists will maintain satellite offices in the new building while the Breast Center at Appleton Medical Center, and the Regional Sleep Disorders Clinic will also relocate to Encircle Health.
Ancillary services at Encircle Health include a comprehensive lab, phelebotomy, and advanced CT, MRI, state-of-the-art endocsopy, ultrasound and digital mammography and imaging. Radiology Associates of Appleton provides radiology services at the new facility.
The ambulatory care center integrates the services offered by both primary care physicians and specialists by co-locating them and diagnostic services in a single facility, and by keeping them connected in real time through ThedaCare's electronic medical records system. |

This is an employed position with a flexible two-year salary guarantee based on a four, four and one-half, or five-day work week. After that period of time, the physician will move to an incentive compensation plan. Physician may choose to end the guarantee period early, if financial targets are being met.

Description |
ThedaCare, Inc. a highly successful northeast Wisconsin integrated health system, seeks a BE/BC Family Medicine physician, with Obstetrics for our North Appleton location. The physician will have the option to practice "full scope" or utilize an established hospitalist program for inpatient care.
Call will be 1:14 weekends and one weekday per month; OB Call will be 1:5. The group shares "at home" call with another ThedaCare family medicine group. ThedaCare On Call, a nurse triage service, screens all calls before transferring them to the on-call physician. The hospitalist manages all admissions, unless the physician chooses to admit his/her own patients. The on-call physician works 10 am - 7 pm weekdays.
This position will partner with a dedicated and innovative medical staff including midlevel providers. This opportunity will allow the physician the chance to work in a setting where growth and change are encouraged and expected. As part of ThedaCare's new deliverly model, providers will offer same-day appointments, and a plan of care for the patient before they leave their appointment. In addition, patients will know their laboratory results during their visit!

APPLETON MEDICAL CENTER is highly regarded as a top area medical facility. This 160 bed hospital is breaking new ground and records with its key programs and services. Named four times as a Solucient "Top 100 Hospital". The Emergency Department is staffed by board certified physicians. The Appleton Heart Institute has been a leader for more than 20 years in the prevention, diagnosis equipment, medical and surgical treatments and rehabilitation, and currently performs more than 300 open-heart procedures annually. The ThedaCare Cancer Institute and the Martha Siekman Cancer Center offer excellent oncology services for area conacer patients who require inpatient or out patient therapy and ongoing support services. The Groth Surgery Center, which opened in 1999, is a state-of-the-art outpatient surgery center completed with seven surgical suites, four procedure rooms, and a cystoscopy room.
THEDA CLARK MEDICAL CENTER has overlooked the waters of Lake Winnebago for more than 80 years and continues to have a viable presence in the local medical community. Major programs for this progressive 260-bed hospital include: Named four times as a Solucient "Top 100 Hospital" , ACS Level II Trauma Center (includes a dedicated Chest Pain Center, helicopter-based response service for Northeastern Wisconsin, 24/7 staffing with board certified emergency medicine physicians.) The Neuroscience Center, with comprehensive neurology and neurosurgery services includes a six-bed neurological intensive care unit. The Center of Rehabilitation Services offers treatment for trauma, stroke, orthopedic, and neuromuscular condition.
