Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group (LLUFMG) invites applications for the position of Chair, Department of Dermatology.

Loma Linda University Health (LLUH) is a faith-based academic medical complex comprised of 8 health science schools, including the Loma Linda University School of Medicine (LLUSM), 6 hospitals and a large medical group (LLUFMG) with over 900 physicians. The affiliated institutions of LLUH serve as the primary tertiary medical facility for Southern California’s Inland Empire area, with a surrounding population over 4 million, and the only Level 1 trauma center serving a four county area that covers approximately 25% of the state. The recruitment of the Chair of Dermatology is essential to the continued growth and success of LLUH, the LLUSM and the Department. The successful candidate will hold an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. and will be an outstanding leader, widely recognized in the field with a strong track record of academic leadership. He/she must be a respected leader who is operationally savvy, highly knowledgeable of cutting edge techniques, and a visionary leader. The Chair is responsible for the overall administrative, academic, and clinical outcomes and will provide strategic leadership for all components of the Department while ensuring the highest standard of excellence in the care and safety of all patients.
