Carilion Family Medicine - Weyers Cave is searching for an ABMS/AOA - BE/BC family practice physician to join another physician and a family nurse practitioner in a well established, busy outpatient practice. Enjoy working a M-F schedule with 1/2 day off during the week. No weekend hours required. After-hours and weekend call for practice patients is shared with a neighboring Carilion Family Medicine practice and rotated on a weekly basis, making call only 1:5. Call volume is very light. Nursing home call shared equally with practice providers, 1:3.

Minimum Qualifications:
- ABMS/AOA-BC/BE in Family Medicine, with plan in place to sit for Boards
- Eligible for unrestricted Virginia medical license and DEA
- Team player, highly motivated, excellent communication skills
- Graduating residents encouraged to apply
The practice is located in Augusta County with a population of 73,000. Weyers Cave has small town charm and friendly people with a population of 2,500. Weyers Cave is conveniently located 20 minutes from Harrisonburg, home to James Madison University, and Staunton, home to Mary Baldwin College and the American Shakespeare Center. Weyers Cave is 45 minutes from Massanutten and Wintergreen, both four-season resorts.
