Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, VA is seeking BC/BE Internal Medicine physicians to join a well-established team of Hospitalists in our mission to improve the health of the communities we serve. Practice includes inpatient managment and consultations in a large tertiary care hospital. You will have the strong support of Carilion Clinic's 650+ physician-led multi-specialty group serving over 1.25 million throughout southwest Virginia for over 100 years. Highlights include:
20+ member group
7 on/7 off schedule; 182 shifts annually
No outpatient responsibilities
Intensivist Program in place for ICU patients
Dedicated Nocturnists; 10 midlevel providers
791-bed academic/tertiary center with Level I Trauma; helipad
Academic environment; GME programs
Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine opened in August 2010
Flagship hospital for 7-hospital system

Roanoke is a metropolitan area of over 300,000 located within the southern tip of Virginia's Shenandoah Valley, 3-1/2 hours south of D.C. via Interstate 81. Minimum Qualifications:
Residency trained in Internal Medicine
Articulate communicator, a teamplayer, and confident in their skills
