 Client Overview
This facility was established in 1992 as a 501 (c)(3) private, non-profit and charitable organization, providing affordable healthcare for the uninsured, underinsured, and low-income residents of Wichita Falls and surrounding communities. A family practice medical facility, our team is comprised of caring and experienced caregivers, including primary care physicians, dentists, nurses and support personnel. We accept all forms of insurance including Medicare, Medicaid, and CHIP. Patients with minimal or no insurance can receive care through a discounted sliding fee scale based on family income and household size.

We believe not only in being here for our community, but in reaching out to it! Our mobile dental unit is staffed with a dentist, a dental hygienist and a dental assistant. This unit visits schools to screen children and provide them with dental care where they're at. During the summer months, this same mobile dental unit travels to nursing homes and provides dental services to residents needing dental care.

Community Overview
The City of Wichita Falls is comfortably nestled in the lower North East corner of the Panhandle/Plains area of North Texas approximately two hours northwest of Dallas and two hours south of Oklahoma City. This is a family oriented city of over 100,000 conveniently within two hours of two metropolitan areas with populations exceeding one million citizens.

The location is ideal for those wanting a smaller city's lifestyle while being close to other activities available in a metropolitan area. It is an economically progressive city home to commerce and industry with worldwide interests. The city also has several institutions of higher learning, a strong international presence through Sheppard Air Force Base, a well educated, eager workforce and a community spirit geared toward family, friends and a desire to see that this thriving city continues to grow and prosper.... By most accounts Wichita Falls can be summed up with two words, pleasant and comfortable.

The city does enjoy western culture involving roundups and rodeos AND the refined culture of community theatres, ballet, symphony, arts center, museums AND the activity and culture that comes with having a multinational Euro-NATO population at Sheppard Air Force Base. For the bike enthusiasts, Wichita Falls is the host of the annual "Hotter 'n Hell" national bike race in late August where tens of thousands of people come once a year to participate or to watch. It's an active, vibrant town.
