Maine Medical Partners – Women’s Health is seeking a FT OB/GYN Generalist to join their Maternal-Fetal Medicine Division.

This well-established division, with 70 years of combined experience in the field of Maternal-Fetal medicine, provides services throughout the state of Maine, including a growing perinatal regional program with several outreach clinics.  This consultative practice is supported by a fully developed labor and delivery service with a BC OB/GYN on duty 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.  We offer Amniocentesis, CVS and PUBS, and have a superb support staff comprised of 16 sonographers, 2 senior genetic counselors, 2 nurses, and a mid-level provider.

The OB/GYN residency at Maine Medical Center is an ACGME-accredited program which earned a five year accreditation cycle in 2010.

Maine Medical Partners - Women's Health is a multi-specialty group of providers who offer specialty health care for women actively involved in research and education, as well as providing quality clinical care. In addition to Maternal-Fetal Medicine, specialties include Gynecologic Oncology, Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility, and Urogynecology.   The Women’s Health Division has a full working relationship with all pediatric sub-specialties, including cardiology, Infectious Disease, Pulmonary, Nephrology, and Gastroenterology.

The preferred candidate would have an interest in teaching and will have an academic appointment at Tufts University School of Medicine. The position involves teaching and mentoring residents from the MMC OB/GYN Residency Program, and medical students from the Maine Medical Center-Tufts University School of Medicine Medical School Program.
