Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group (LLUFMG), in collaboration with the Loma Linda University Cancer Center (LLUCC), is seeking an energetic and skilled Chief of Medical Oncology & Hematology.
The successful candidate will be a physician-scientist with a distinguished record of scholarly achievement, a strong commitment to patient care and graduate medical education, and proven leadership skills. He or she will be board certified in medical oncology/hematology and will be recruited at the Associate or Full Professor level. The Chief will fill strategic roles in both the Cancer Center and the School of Medicine as the Cancer Center moves towards NCI designation.
LLUCC provides patient-focused, world-class care, together with an emphasis on the translation of science into patient care. This translational research and cancer care is provided by highly respected specialists in a convenient and accessible environment. The LLUCC serves as a portal to 11 teams that research and treat specific types of cancer. This ensures that every patient’s care is comprehensive, individualized and meets our mission to make man whole through healing the whole person—body, mind and spirit.
