 Job Description

Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group, Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, Hyperbaric and Sleep Medicine (PCCHSM) is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join our Hyperbaric and Pulmonary Medicine team.

This full-time position will provide opportunities for inpatient care on the hyperbaric medicine and general pulmonary consult services for a dynamic, enthusiastic and self-motivated candidate.

The PA should have at least 2-3 years of clinical experience.  An exceptional new PA graduate may be considered.  Responsibilities will include:

  1. Evaluate new HBO consults, supervise treatments, and daily follow-up.  Training in hyperbaric medicine will be provided.
     
  2. Assist the attending physician with patient care on the general pulmonary consult service, including initial consults, daily follow-up, thoracentesis, bronchoscopy, tracheostomy management, ventilator management, and discharge planning.
     
  3. Help develop a transition program for COPD patients to decrease hospital readmissions.
