The Practice Administrator of Neurosurgery reports to and works collaboratively with the Chairman of Neurosurgery to be responsible for the success of the Neurosurgical service lines with the goal of achieving long-term business growth and patient access. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, leadership of the outpatient clinics, assuring that quality care services are provided in a productive and fiscally responsible manner, including access to care, service quality, patient satisfaction, agreed-upon quality measures and strategic alignment with the organization’s goals. The Practice Administrator will be responsible for facilitating staff engagement, developing and mentoring personnel, and developing collaborative relationships throughout the organization for the enhancement of the Neurosurgery department. The Practice Administrator also develops operational and financial reporting mechanisms to support process improvement, budget strategies, efficiency of performance within the clinic environments and provide recommendations for improvement in operational processes and financial integrity. This position will support other duties as needed in the operational and administrative needs of LLUHC and LLUFMG.
