• US Citizenship is required.
• Education and/or Experience requires ONE of the following combinations:

1. Bachelor’s degree in MLS, MT, CLS, or related science AND completion of accredited medical technology practice program.
2. Bachelor’s degree including 16 hrs of biological science (one course in microbiology), 16 hrs of chemistry (one course in organic/biochemistry), and one course in mathematics AND 2yrs clinical lab experience within the last ten years post-certification as a certified MLT.
3. Bachelor’s degree including 16 hrs of biological science (one course in microbiology), 16 hrs of chemistry (one course in organic/biochemistry), and one course in mathematics AND 5 yrs clinical lab experience within the last ten years.

• Candidates must currently possess or be eligible for the appropriate certification as a MT, MLS, or CLS given by the ASCP-BOC, ASCP-BOR, or AMT. Categorical or specialist technologist level certification from the certification agencies listed above are acceptable for laboratory specific positions within their categorical certification.
