Description |
In Kaufman, TX: Texas Association of Community Health Centers is seeking a full-time Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
Job Overview:
- Conduct clinical interviews with clients and relatives in order to elicit information regarding attitudes, social background, developmental history, and other psychiatrically relevant material.
- Assist clients in exploring and gaining an insight into their personality and emotional difficulty, helping them resolve their conflicts, and arriving at more effective ways of coping with their environment.
- Administers and score appropriate standardized intelligence tests, such as projective personality tests, and other tests involving vocational interests, aptitudes, and specific disabilities, making referrals when appropriate.
- Give expert court testimony in cases involving mental deficiency or illness commitment proceeding.
- EHR: NextGen.

Requirements |
Qualifications:
- Current State of Texas License in respective field required. LCSW
- Social Work Masters or Doctorate degree from an accredited university/college required
- Knowledge of public health principles and practice, primarily health data privacy and security standards
- Thorough knowledge of maternal and child health, parenting issues, communication skills, family dynamics, and substance abuse
- At least one year post graduated experience preferred
- Good knowledge of psychopharmacology preferred
Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred
Will accept new graduates!
