Duties: Serve as an attending physician on psychiatry service in large teaching hospital. Manage in-patient, outpatient and trauma cases including conducting outpatient psychotherapy and telepsychiatry and administering suboxone treatment protocol and ECT consultation, as needed for efficient, quality patient care. Provide patient care and medical treatment of frequently encountered disorders within the physician¿s particular specialty, including treating chemical dependency including detox and rehab using whole person care by addressing spiritual needs of patients in coordination with chaplains and counselors. Provide didactic and clinical teaching for residents and medical students, including all aspects of the physician¿s particular specialty. Actively participate in research activities within the particular specialty department and represent the department at professional and educational conferences.
Education + Experience Requirements: Medical degree; Completion of a 48-month residency in psychiatry (48-month psychiatry residency must have included rotations in suboxone treatment protocol, telepsychiatry and ECT)
Special Skills:Â
¿ California medical license
¿ 400+ hours conducting outpatient psychotherapy;Â
¿ Experience treating chemical depedency including detox and rehab using whole person care by addressing spiritual needs in coordination with chaplains and counselors
¿ Must be willing to travel to multiple worksites in San Bernardino and Riverside counties.Â
