 Job Description

In Katy, TX: Texas Association of Community Health Centers is seeking a full-time OBGYN Physician who and is responsible for providing direct patient care including history review, health education, physical exam, counseling, diagnosis, and treatment according to protocols, and meeting productivity goals. The Physician is responsible for the delivery of quality medical care to patients of the Center and functions as a member of the multi-disciplinary health care team within the scope of his or her medical practice. He/she will provide clinical direction and supervision to midlevel providers and will oversee the general care of his/her patients.

Job Overview:

  • Out-patient only 
     
  • Examines, diagnoses and treats female patients with medical problem that are obstetrical or gynecologic in nature
     
  • On call once a quarter

 Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited medical school with minimum of 2 year experience required 
  • Active and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Texas required 
  • Must be registered and have current DEA, DPS and other such certificates to legally operate as a practitioner in the State of Texas
  • Have a thorough knowledge of the principles and practices of medicine and allied services commensurate with his/her training. Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology is required.
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) for Healthcare Professionals Certification.
  • Willing to provide prenatal and contraceptive care.

Bilingual (English & Spanish) Preferred
