 Job Description

Carilion Clinic is accepting CV's for a full time board certified/board eligible Radiologist to join the Department of Radiology at Carilion Stonewall Jackson Hospital in Lexington, VA. Carilion Stonewall Jackson Hospital is one of seven hospital's in Carilion Clinic's network serving nearly one million people in Virginia through hospitals, outpatient specialty centers and advanced primary care practices.

The primary focus of this position will be general diagnositic radiology with the ability to perform fluoro procedures, ultrasound procedures, and reading vascular studies but the ideal candidate will also have MSK fellowship training and/or experience with arthrogram procedures and the ability to interpret other imaging studies and participate in the shared call responsibilities of the department, depending on candidate's proficiency and comfort level, excluding mammography and interventional radiology.  Candidates must be a graduate of an ACGME accredited Diagnostic Radiology Residency.

We seek well-trained physicians of excellent character and integrity who wish to work in a collegial environment based on collaboration, mutual respect, trust and cooperation.  We are searching for Radiologists who will be advocates for our patients, consultants for our radiology staff and clinical physicians, and ambassadors for radiology and Carilion Clinic. Radiologists invited to Carilion Clinic will join experienced, board-certified Radiologists and clinical colleagues dedicated to clinical integration, efficiency of care, quality improvement, teaching in an academic environment, and research. Our purpose is to achieve the best possible outcome for every patient by working together to practice, teach and discover better ways to heal.
