ThedaCare is committed to expanding psychiatric care to the communities it serves. Sixty employed mental health professionals provide counseling through its psychiatric program. As part of an ongoing effort, ThedaCare wishes to add another outpatient physician. The outpatient physicians see new patients, perform evaluations and provide medication checks.

• Work within ThedaCare Behavioral Health's Adult Psychiatry program
• See patients 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday
• Share call 1:9 weekdays; 1:8 on the weekends. ThedaCare On-Call, a 24-hour RN-staffed triage call center, triages all calls, in addition to ThedaCare Behavioral Health clinicians. Physicians off Mondays following call weekends.
• Adult psychiatrists may perform ECTs

• The Psychiatric group is part of a behavioral health division that includes; six adult psychiatrists, two adult psychiatric hospitalists, two nurse practitioners,  and 50 Mental Health/Substance Abuse Counselors as well as Psychology and Neuropsychology services.

  Theda Clark Hospital has a newly renovated, adult inpatient unit with several private rooms. This unit is covered by a hospitalist M-F, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The inpatient physician covers consults at Theda Clark Medical Center and Appleton Medical Center during the week, and on-call physicians cover on weekends. The two hospitals are approx. 20 minutes apart.

  As part of an integrated system, support staff also helps the physician to provide excellent patient care!
