 Job Description

In Fort Worth, TX: Texas Association of Community Health Centers is seeking a full-time OBGYN Physician who will provide primary high quality, comprehensive out-patient only medical care services to the Center’s patients under his/her panel.

Job Overview:

  • Perform direct patient care duties
  • This is an outpatient only position, with no deliveries or surgeries.
  • Examines, diagnoses and treats female patients with medical problem that are obstetrical or gynecologic in nature
  • From time to time, provides in-service training for staff in selected topics as deemed necessary by the CMO
  • Assists in internal quality control audits
  • Supervises medical assistants, lab personnel, and other health care professional in area of specific support services for patient care delivery
  • Participate in Centers’s on-call schedule
  • EHR: NextGen

 Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited medical school with a degree of Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy
  • Minimum of 3 years post graduate experience required 
  • Active and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Texas
  • Must be registered and have current DEA, DPS and other such certificates to legally operate as a practitioner in the State of Texas
  • Have a thorough knowledge of the principles and practices of medicine and allied services commensurate with his/her training. Board eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology is required; board certification is preferred
  • Must possess current CPR course completion card level C
  • Remain eligible for FTCA coverage

Bilingual (English & Spanish) Preferred
