Carilion Clinic has an excellent employed opportunity to join four urologists and five advanced care practitioners in a busy office with advanced diagnostic tools and treatment options. Carilion Clinic Urology has a great reputation and a large patient base developed from forty years of practice. Aspects of this opportunity include:
Modern and progressive Carilion New River Valley Medical Center (CNRV) located 15 minutes from the practice with OR block time. CNRV is a 150 bed level III trauma center. CNRV offers minimally invasive surgery including DaVinci robotics, three smart OR’s., MRI targeted prostate biopsies, laparoscopic surgery, InterStim, CyberWand for PCNL, and Holmium laser. Surgeons also perform cases at the ambulatory surgery center on CNRV campus. Lithotripsy available via weekly mobile truck (with partnership options available). 1:5 call with ACPs providing some first call and hospital coverage support.
Cystoscopy tower systems, digital X-ray and urodynamics in the primary ambulatory practice, supporting in-office procedures and maximum physician efficiency. Excellent referral base of primary care physicians. The position offers a competitive, guaranteed base salary plus bonus incentives to enhance income capabilities. Candidates must be eligible for unrestricted Virginia medical licensure and Board Certified or Board Eligible with certification in process required.
