Community Overview

Located 33 miles southeast of Dallas and only half an hour from downtown, Kaufman is a community that is surrounded by incredible growth, yet still it maintains its small town charm and heritage.

The Kaufman area offers 20 golf courses and multiple lakes for skiing, boating and fishing. For evening entertainment, we are a few short minutes from downtown Dallas, offering music, restaurants, professional sports and shopping. Kaufman is also located in the middle of some of the best "antiquing" sites in the country.

Kaufman is a perfect balance of tradition and progress. From our turn-of-the-century Town Square (the century before the last one!) to our state of the art business park and sports complex, Kaufman offers the best of both worlds. With exemplary schools, an abundance of jobs, and with one of Presbyterian's very best hospitals, it is no wonder Kaufman is the County Seat of the fourth fastest growing county in North Texas!
