 Job Description
  • The Department of Emergency Medicine at Guthrie Medical Group is establishing a new Emergency Medicine Residency program and is seeking a Program Director
  • The ideal candidate must be certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine and have current medical licensure and appropriate medical staff appointment
  • Candidates must have at least three years' experience as a core faculty member in an ACGME-accredited Emergency Medicine program and demonstrated experience in a leadership role with evidence of ongoing involvement in scholarly activity, including peer-reviewed publications.

 Job Requirements

Qualifications of the program director must include:

  • Requisite specialty expertise and documented educational and administrative experience acceptable to the Review Committee;
  • Current certification in the specialty by the American Board of Emergency Medicine, or specialty qualifications that are acceptable to the Review Committee;
  • Current medical licensure and appropriate medical staff appointment;
  • At least three years’ experience as a core faculty member in an ACGME-accredited emergency medicine program and demonstrated experience in a leadership role; and,
  • Evidence of ongoing involvement in scholarly activity, including peer-reviewed publications.

Board Certified from a ACGME accredited program where they have a demonstrated record of scholarship and three years of experience.
