CLINICAL CARDIOLOGY OPPORTUNITY

Maine Medical Partners MaineHealth Cardiology is seeking a clinical cardiologist to join their Lewiston, Maine practice location.  The preferred candidate would be a Fellowship-trained cardiologist proficient in both echo and nuclear cardiology and will join a team of cardiologists who provide inpatient, outpatient and consultative services.

Maine Medical Partners MaineHealth Cardiology is a growing practice of over 40 cardiologists, with office locations in Augusta, Waterville, Lewiston, Rockport, and Scarborough, and is affiliated with the nationally recognized cardiac services at Maine Medical Center and its parent organization MaineHealth, providing patients across the state with some of the nation’s highest quality cardiac care.

This integrated practice also works closely with other regional hospitals, including St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Lewiston, to build a coordinated network of cardiology services.   St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center is a 233-bed acute care facility offering a full range of inpatient and outpatient services.

The Lewiston-Auburn area, known locally as “LA,” represents two cities that are side by side on opposite banks of the Androscoggin River in south-central Maine. These communities are about half an hour north of Portland. Here you will find safe, family-friendly communities and excellent private and public schools. Lewiston is also the home of Bates College, ranked by The Princeton Review in 2005 as the nation’s “Best Value” college. Being so near to Portland Maine, and under three hours from Boston, Maine’s LA residents have easy access to all the amenities offered by large cities.  You can also enjoy Maine’s beautiful coastline or head to the mountains, both just a 45 minute drive away.

Maine Medical Partners is a subsidiary of Maine Medical Center and serves the health care needs of patients throughout Maine and Northern New England.  This high quality team of more than 380 physicians and 150 advanced practice professionals provides a wide range of hospital based, primary, specialty, and sub-specialty adult and pediatric care, delivered throughout a network of 30 locations across the State and acts as a regional referral network.
