 Job Description

Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group Department of Sugery is seeking a Senior Research Lab Scientist to join our team.

The Senior Research Lab Scientist works independently and in collaboration with the Principal Investigator.  This individual manages, plans and conducts translational research work in a study-team setting, providing technical guidance and support based on expertise and background. S/he assumes responsibility and accountability for detailed laboratory and animal research experiments employing expertise in molecular biology, immunohistochemistry, and human neuronal stem cell tissue culture, and in computer imaging processing methods that address the research goals and objectives of the department. The Senior Research Lab Scientist is expected to prepare, review, and publish scientific reports and manuscripts; and will seek and write grant proposals to fund research.  This individual will be available for periodic travel to scientific meetings to present research findings. Performs other duties as needed.
