This position is designed for the highly engaged clinical educator who can combine quality and metrics-based practice in a collegial and faith-based environment.

This stroke educator will participate in the clinical care of stroke patients, work with our stroke director to establish a neurovascular fellowship program, educate our residents and medical students, and participate in clinical research and quality improvement projects.

Our stroke program is supported with a stroke coordinator, educator, three neuro-interventionalists, two stroke specialists, our departmental research center, and two stroke NPs who respond to hyperacute stroke activations. LLUMC has MRI (MRS, SWI, functional, diffusion-tensor imaging), CT angiography/perfusion, and Diamox SPECT. Our interventional protocol includes immediate access to MRI DWI and perfusion studies.

Our vibrant Neurology Department is a tight knit group with a strong tradition of clinical education and aligned values. Our position offers a competitive salary and benefit package. Professorship is commensurate with experience.
