 Job Description

Carilion Clinic Internal Medicine - Radford is searching for a BE/BC General Internist to join an established outpatient practice in Radford, VA. Join another physician and several ACPs in a group practice with Monday to Friday office hours. The outpatient clinic is conveniently located within the Carilion New River Valley Medical Center Campus, a 146-bed facility offering patients accessibility to on site imaging and laboratory services. Additionally Carilion New River Valley Medical Center offers modern diagnostic, medical and surgical services in a customer friendly atmosphere. The hospital has a Level III Trauma Emergency Department that is home to Lifeguard11, Carilion Clinic’s Emergency Air Medical Transport which primarily serves the New River Valley and areas west. There are approximately 200 physicians on the medical staff representing a broad spectrum of both medical and surgical specialties to support the Internal Medicine providers and patients.

Virginia's New River Valley comprises the localities of Blacksburg (Home to Virginia Tech), Radford (home to Radford University), Christiansburg and surrounding communities, altogether a population of 185,000.
