The Opportunity:  Located directly on the shore of the Atlantic Ocean in Rockport, Pen Bay Medical Center seeks BC/BE IM physician to join its hospital-employed Primary Care group.  Work in a practice with physicians, advanced practitioners and clinical support staff to care for the communities of Mid-Coast Maine.  We offer a competitive salary with productivity bonus, comprehensive benefits, paid time off, CME, four day work schedule, 1:8 outpatient call, impressive sub-specialty support, relocation and an outstanding loan repayment program. 

The Hospital:  A member of the MaineHealth system, Pen Bay Medical Center (PBMC) is a non-profit 99-bed, full-service community hospital located directly on beautiful Penobscot Bay in Rockport, Maine. We offer inpatient and outpatient care to the communities of Mid-Coast Maine with a full Hospitalist Service, diagnostic, therapeutic and rehabilitative services, patient and community education, and a full-range of specialty services through the Emergency Department, Special Care Unit, Surgical Services Department, and the Psychiatric Addiction & Recovery Center.

With an Active Medical Staff of about 100 physicians, PBMC offers an impressive array of specialty and sub-specialty services.
