Carilion Clinic Family Medicine - Floyd is searching for a family medicine physician with excellent training to help us continue to meet the needs of the community due to a physician retirement in Floyd, Virginia. Join four additional providers and practice full scope family medicine excluding OB in an outpatient practice with Monday to Friday office hours. Enjoy centralized billing and electronic medical records (EPIC). | Community Overview |
The Town of Floyd is known as a regional destination for music, especially blue grass, and old-time music. The Friday Night Jamboree, which features local and area bands, has been held each Friday night in Floyd for many years, gaining in popularity very recently. Floyd is also home to a very large counter culture movement. There are other musical venues and stages in the town, featuring many different styles of music. The Winter Sun, a complex in downtown Floyd, frequently hosts shows for bands. |

One of the largest hospitals in the state, Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital (CRMH) is a 703-bed hospital with an additional 60-bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The facility recently completed a large expansion project, adding a new Emergency Department, Labor and Delivery unit and the Carilion Clinic Children's Hospital complete with a Pediatric Emergency Room.
