Carilion Clinic is accepting CV's for an additional otolaryngologist, general, pediatric and/or other subspecialists, for our 791-bed flagship teaching/tertiary referral hospital with Virginia State-designated Level 1 Trauma Center, serving 1.5 million people throughout Southwest Virginia. We seek well-trained physicians with integrity who wish to work in a collegial environment based on collaboration, mutual respect, trust, and cooperation. Otolaryngologists invited to join Carilion Clinic will join experienced, board certified otolaryngologists and clinical colleagues dedicated to clinical integration, efficiency of care, quality improvement, teaching in an academic environment, and research. Our purpose is to achieve the best possible outcome for every patient by working together to practice, teach, and discover better ways to heal. The Roanoke Valley is a metro area of 300K+ located at the southern tip of Virginia's Shenandoah Valley, surrounded by the Blue Ridge Mountains with never-ending vistas. Minimum Qualifications:
ABMS-BC/BE Otolaryngology
Graduating Residents encouraged to apply
Interest in teaching and/or research
Ability to cover the clinical breadth of the ENT service while on call

Carilion Clinic Otolaryngology has a history of high quality otolaryngology care, full-service, outstanding audiology support with state-of-the-art technology, superb operative facilities, and excellent radiology support. A recently begun transformation to an academic clinic model includes the announcement of a new medical school jointly undertaken by Carilion and Virginia Tech, Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine (VTC), opening Fall 2010. In addition, otolaryngology residents from the University of Virginia rotate in our center along with residents in other specialities and medical students from adjacent centers.
