 Job Description

Loma Linda University Department of Medicine and Faculty Medical Group have immediate opening for full-time faculty candidates in the Infectious Diseases Division. Qualified candidates must be board certified/board eligible in Infectious Diseases. 

Loma Linda Health is a faith based organization. The candidate is not required to be a member of Loma Linda’s faith tradition, but should understand, respect, and support the mission and vision of Loma Linda University School of Medicine and Loma Linda University Medical Center.

General Infectious Diseases

  • 80-90% Inpatient consultation in General Infectious Diseases with outpatient clinic involvement (1-4 clinics/month). 
  • Antibiotic education and control: a division-wide responsibility
  • Like the Stewardship and Transplant positions, time can be divided between Transplant-General, Transplant-Stewardship
  • Call is 1 in 4 to 1 in 6 weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
  • Participation in student, resident, and graduate school education.
