 Job Description

In Eden, TX: Texas Association of Community Health Centers is seeking a full-time Licensed Masters Social Worker who is experienced working with the underserved population in a fast paced clinic setting. 

Job Overview: 

  • Provide a range of community based social work, integrated behavioral health services, and case management, within the context of rural primary care medical clinics
  • Assess, diagnose and treat mental and emotional disorders, including mental health and substance use issues and health behaviors
  • Treats all age groups, children through adults
  • Use psychoeducational techniques aimed at the prevention of mental and emotional health disorders
  • Provide consultation to individuals, couples, families, groups and organizations
  • Provide collaborative care with other healthcare professionals

 Job Requirements

Qualifications: 

  • Current Texas LMSW license
  • Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited college or university program.
  • One year of practice experience in medical or behavioral/mental health social work

Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred.
