Salary negotiable based on experience.

In Waco, TX: Texas Association of Community Health Centers is seeking a Full-Time Family Medicine Physician who is responsible for providing medical services to the patients of the community health center

Job Overview:

  • Provide the full scope of primary care services which fall under physician’s field of training
  • Diagnose, treat, and provide coordination of care, preventive care and health maintenance to patients of all ages
  • Become familiar with the philosophy, goals and objectives of the Center and work collaboratively to achieve them
  • Be cognizant of, and comply with all center policies and procedures, as well as pertinent state and federal regulations

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited medical school with a degree of Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy.
  • Completion of an approved residency program in a primary care specialty.
  • License to practice medicine in the state of Texas
  • Board eligible or Board certification required.

Bilingual (Spanish & English) Preferred

Community Overview

Waco, TX: Situated on the I-35 corridor halfway between Dallas and Austin (approximately 1.5 hours to each), lies Waco, the 22nd largest city in the state of Texas. Located less than a mile from the Magnolia Market Silos, this clinic is currently staffed by a physician and a physician assistant, which is to be replaced by a physician.
