Waco, TX: Situated on the I-35 corridor halfway between Dallas and Austin (approximately 1.5 hours to each), lies Waco, the 22nd largest city in the state of Texas. With an incredible selection of museums and attractions, beautiful recreational sites and great shopping and dining, there’s something in the Heart of Texas for every member of the family.

To give you just a couple of examples, a scenic Riverwalk along the east and west banks of the Brazos River stretches from the Baylor campus to Cameron Park Zoo, about seven miles in all. This multi-use walking and jogging, lighted trail passes underneath the Waco Suspension Bridge and captures the peaceful charm of the Brazos River. The city also boasts one of the of the biggest and best municipal parks in Texas, Cameron Park. The 416-acre park is located in the heart of Waco, next to downtown, situated on the Brazos and Bosque Rivers. It hosts numerous races, triathlons, boat races and more. 

Education: There are three fine institutions of higher learning in Waco: Baylor University, McLennan Community College, and Texas State Technical College. Waco has four main high schools within city limits and multiple private, parochial, and charter elementary and secondary schools. 

Air travel is easily accessible at the Waco Regional Airport, which is serviced by commuter carriers American Eagle and Continental Connection to DFW and Houston airports.

Located less than a mile from the Magnolia Market Silos, this clinic is currently staffed by a physician and a physician assistant, which is to be replaced by a physician. With basic lab services on site, this clinic is committed to serving many of our homeless patients.
