Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group, Division of Pediatric Cardiology is seeking a board eligible/board certified non-invasive pediatric cardiologist for a clinical faculty position at the assistant to associate level, with special interest and expertise in echocardiography and non-invasive imaging. Additional training or experience in non-invasive imaging, particularly fetal echocardiography is preferred. The Division of Pediatric Cardiology consists of 9 faculty members in the fields of non-invasive imaging, cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, advanced cardiac support and transplant, and pulmonary hypertension.
Requisite skills include interpretation of transthoracic, transesophageal, and fetal echocardiograms. Academic appointment will be at Loma Linda University School of Medicine. Clinical responsibilities will include ambulatory and inpatient cardiology consultations as well as fetal cardiology consultations. Academic responsibilities will include clinical research and/or quality improvement work, and teaching of fellows, residents, medical students, and sonographers.
Loma Linda University Children's Hospital has 343 beds including 82 NICU beds and 16 cardiac ICU beds with an additional step-down unit. We also have several outreach clinics providing care throughout the region.
Salary, appointment and academic support will be commensurate with qualifications.
