 Job Description

In Greenville, TX: Texas Association of Community Health Centers is seeking a full-time Pediatrician to provide outpatient medical care in the clinic. 

Job Overview:

  • Perform comprehensive physical assessment of patients using observation, inspection, auscultation, palpation and percussion
  • Order or execute various tests, analyses, and diagnostic images to provide information on patients condition
  • Diagnose and treat diseases, disorders and injuries based on patients medical history and results of physical assessment and refer patients to medical specialist or other practitioner for specialized treatment
  • Prescribe medications and therapies for treatment and preventive care
  • Instruct patients and their families regarding procedures performed, home care, and follow-up visits

 Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • M.D. or D.O. from an accredited educational institution
  • Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Texas
  • Board Certification in Pediatrics or passage of Board Certification examination within one (1) year of employment
  • Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and Department of Public Safety (DPS) registrations for the purpose of writing prescriptions
  • Current Healthcare Provider Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) course completion card
  • Current Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers

Spanish preferred but not required!

Will accept new graduates!

NCQA is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to improving health care quality.  NCQA accredits and certifies a wide range of health care organizations including hospitals, clinics and insurance companies.
